International Human Rights Day is observed annually on December 10th, marking the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948. Significance in Nigeria and Africa: Raising Awareness: Highlights issues such as poverty, inequality, gender-based violence, and child rights violations prevalent across Nigeria and other African nations.

Chariot For The Needy Foundation (CNF) is a registered non-profit organization with a mission to address human suffering resulting from injustice, through facilitation of access to justice for vulnerable indigent citizens and promotion of rule of law in Nigeria.

CNF Our Humanitarian Standard

CNF recognizes the primary responsibility of the Nigerian state and other relevant authorities to protect and assist those affected by disasters or armed conflicts within her territories. Hence our humanitarian action does not undermine these responsibilities; indeed, whenever possible, it complements them. People in crisis or at the risk of it are at the heart of humanitarian action.

Our Core Values of CNF

CNF engages the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) on Quality and Accountability which sets out nine commitments that organizations and individuals involved in humanitarian response are encouraged to use to improve the quality and effectiveness of the assistance they provide.
