1. Overview
Our DCP supports disabled, physically challenged, and handicapped children from poor, vulnerable, and disadvantaged homes in Nigeria. It focuses on addressing critical health, education, empowerment, and social inclusion challenges of disabled children while ensuring efficient resource use, impactful outcomes, and sustainable partnerships.
2. DCP Mission, Vision, and Slogan
Mission: To empower disabled and physically challenged children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Nigeria by providing healthcare, education, rehabilitation, and advocacy for their inclusion and rights.
Vision: A Nigeria where every child, regardless of ability, enjoys equal opportunities for growth, development, and inclusion in society.
3. DCP Aims and Objectives
Aims:
- To improve the quality of life for disabled children in Nigeria by addressing their unique healthcare, educational, and social needs.
- To advocate for the rights and inclusion of disabled children in all aspects of society.
Objectives:
- Provide comprehensive medical care, assistive devices, and rehabilitation services.
- Offer access to inclusive education, vocational training, and skill development programs.
- Create community awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote inclusion.
- Foster partnerships with government agencies, international organizations, and private sector entities.
- Mobilize resources through strategic fundraising initiatives.
4. Core Program Areas
- Healthcare and Rehabilitation:
